If a pad shows raw instead of standard and the buttons are wrong, switch it to XInput mode — Chrome then recognises it with no guessing at all. On 8BitDo pads: power off, then hold X + Home while switching back on (B + Home is DInput, Y + Home is Switch mode, which also works).
